Kathleen (Nin) Mellor Died 27th May 1974, 3 days after her 55th birthday
Mum why did you have to go? I've asked God this question so many times. We all miss you still so very much 33 years later You was a wonderful,kind and loving Mum to us all Terry,Doris,Jackie,Me (John) ,Billy ,Kim,Stephen and little Kay who hardly knew you as she was only 5 years old when you had you first stroke at the of age of 46 years .And you were the best wife ever to our Dad who never stopped loving you up to the day he died March 21st 2000 aged 94 .Mum there is so much I could say; suffice to say in the words of the family song .

And if we tried, we still couldnt hide our love for you
You ought to know, for havent we told you so

You went away and our heart went with you

Also Mum you was a Grandmother to 20, 11 of whom you never got to meet in life Billy (1),Kim (1),Stephen (4),and Kay (4) plus my youngest Esther aged 17 10-05-90 and Great G.M to 16 none of whom you also never got to meet in life.
But be rest assured Mum they all know about you
So Mum on what would have been your 88th Birthday and the 33rd Aniversary of your going from us; We all miss you still so very much .

My Nan
I was 9 when u sadly passed away 'Nanny Mellor' but i still remember you as if it was yesterday - i remember coming to visit you nearly every week and sitting with you in your armchair! You have left behind so many fond memories and even up to your passing, you still remained as fiery tempered as ever!! Each and every single one of us in the family still talk of you or have photos of you up in their houses alongside our grandad jack and those treasured memories will never fade Nan. I hope you are still happy in heaven with grandad and one day we will all be together again! Love u forever. Your loving granddaughter Sarah xxxxx
Never knew you...
Well, it has certainly been far too long for us as a family to have lost someone so special, all those years ago Nan. And I never knew you either, as I was only a baby, when you lost your fight for life, but from what my mum, all my Aunts and Uncles have told me, you were and still will always be truely amazing, always in our hearts! (I reckon you and my mum are identical...!) Love you Nan, and look after my 2 very special dad's where ever you all may be residing now!!! XXXX
